Why join AGS?
Requirements:
Alpha Gamma Sigma is the state honors society for California Community Colleges. Members benefit from networking opportunities with other high achieving students. Members also receive a seal on their transcript every semester that they are a member of AGS.
1. GCC Students must have completed a minimum of 12 units and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
2. New incoming students must have graduated high school with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
3. Members of the California Scholarship Foundation can also apply for membership.

Active Members are required to complete 100 Service Points during the semester. Service Points are earned through AGS fundraising, social, and community service events. Active Members who are involved in volunteer active outside of AGS may be eligible for up to 25 points.
